Default Extremely strange glitch.

Well, today I turned my BB8310 off while I went to class. It had been off all day, and at about 2:20, which is approx 5-6 hours later, I turned it back on. However, when I turned it back on, something REALLY strange was happening.

Well, two things, actually. First, the trackball button kept inputting "O"
Second, the Back key kept inputting "Lh". Like, everytime I hit the back button, it would type "lh"

I tried just soft-resetting the phone; no luck.
Then I tried doing a battery pull, by just pulling the battery out and putting it right back in; still no luck.
Then finally I tried taking the battery out, and putting it back in after 30seconds to a minute later; once again, no luck.

So in the end, I left the phone on for a couple of minutes, then surprisingly, I checked the phone, and it was fixed. Then another strange problem came up, my trackball button seemed to be a lot LESS sensitive, and I had to press kind of hard to get it to work. I fell asleep for a few hours, and now I check my phone again, and the trackball button is back to normal, as is everything else.

But still, that was so strange. Anyone experience this before, or know any consequences/how to prevent this from happening?

Wirelessly posted (8310)

Sounds like temporary moisture problems. Where was your BB when you were at school?

Pocket, the entire time. I guess it could've been sweat or just general condensation or something, I dunno. Makes sense, though. It's never happened before, and today I happened to not have it in the case it came with since I couldn't find it. Well, I guess I'll just be more careful, then. Just glad it's working fine now.

Well, to be on the safe side.. Dry it with a safe drying agent such as rice if it ever occurs again.
