Default a better trackball

Please Login to Remove!

i have the original trackball in my 8900 its only a few moths old but it seems to get sticky and i have taken it fully apart and cleaned it, is there a better trackball that i could replace it with or are there any suggestions? or do i just keep cleaning it

the 8900 stock trackball is the best there is. i have changed track balls for different colors and even used the g1 track ball. but i still havent had the same quality of the atomic trackball

I agree. I replaced the OEM trackball with a yellow trackball from CNN and although it's more aesthetically pleasing, it isn't as good as the OEM trackball....

OEM trackball is a little softer and more responsible.... The replacement color trackballs feel more plastic like and don't work as well...

yeah, my trackball has the same problem too. But I guess, just have to clean it often or wash my hands before I use my BB if I can help it. lol

You can get replacement trackballs and I heard it isn't too much of a rocket science to install it.

The atomic trackball is by far the best trackball I have ever used I would never replace the trackball with anything other then the original oem.
