i have a spare vzw 8330 that i want to give my sister who has metro pcs. i called them and they said they can make it work, but i want to know if the pin will still work for blackberry messenger. does anyone know?

As long as she has a BlackBerry data plan it should work.

i hope so, i know some phones will not even send a picture message after being flashed onto metro pcs and i don't wanna risk ruining a perfectly good 8330. thanks!

I don't think Metro PCS supports BB data which you would need for MMS.

I suggest you use our SEARCH function and search on "Metro PCS". There are quite a number of threads about using BBs on that network - good and bad.
