Media card - might be a stupid question
Please Login to Remove!
So I just got the Tour - OMG I love this thing!
After getting the battery cover off, microSD card and SIM in I fire it up all is well. I got to Verizon to get a Silcone cover so I dont drop it and scratch or break it. But then I noticed that there is a slot on top of the phone for a regular SD card also - is that correct? If so does that mean you could put a 16GB there and a microSD in the back by the battery and have 32GB of memory for this freaking thing?
I really did not see the reason for two slots, but maybe it is not a SD card slot? Anyone with insight -thank you - and sorry for the dumb question.

There is only one SD slot the other is for a SIM card for traveling overseas. Hope this helps.

I think its probably audio output related since its close to the earphone, perhaps it improves speakerphone output?

There are only two slots and they are inside he phone, after you remove the back cover-1) a small SD card, 2 gigs I think, that comes with the phone and used for storing photos, music etc and 2) a SIM card which really only comes into play I believe when you are travelling abroad.

It's not a slot of speaker (I've already opened the phone up). It's just an indentation, just like other BB phones that's used for belt clips with the thumb-release handle that clips into that slot.

yeah I saw that after he said, I had a asshat moment there, should have investigated before posting - but it does look as if it might be for a SDcard at first glance.
