hello this is my first post here,

i want to know some info about o2 UK.

i got bold 9000 at the moment and i am moving to UK for a while and i need a plan for data (not limited) no 75MB or 250MB or unlimited with fair use policy etc. also i would like talk minutes and BB service. BIS.

i want to know the price aprox. cos on the O2 web site the are no specific descriptions about charges and tariffs. actually there are some links but are not accessible if you are not in the UK.

i just want SIM card no handset etc....

You cannot get a contract on O2 without getting a new phone.
however you can sell this phone, at maybe triple what you paid (maybe free) especailly if you choose the phone you have now.

I have been looking at O2 recently. Unfortunately no phone company in the UK has completely unlimited data and will likely be a fair use policy (as opposed to a limited amount).
as an example you can get on a 18 month contract, and get 600 minutes and 1000 texts for 34.26 a month, which if you choose a BB along with that contract automaticall adds BIS plan for FREE. this has a fair use policy of 200MB a month (which is more than I get on t-mobile at 50MB a month).

on this plan or above you get BIS plan for FREE.
on the plan outlined above you would have to pay about £98 for the Bold. which you could easily triple by selling.

need any more info about plans tariffs and i'll look it up.

so the only way to get BIS and talk minutes is only with a contract and handset from O2 or CPW. which i have to meke the 18moth agreement. i cant make a SIM only contract with BIS and talk minutes?

That's total rubbish!

You can get sim only contracts on O2 which are infact alot cheaper than the normal contracts as you don't get the phone. (Also, you can have the contract on a month by month basis, so no minimum contract!)

For a data contract, with BIS with a reasonable amount of data and calls inc, you're looking at around the £20.00ppm range.

You may be best giving them a call thought just to make sure you're getting all the services you want.

oh cool, i just talk with them and they said that they have sim only conteracts with out any restriction and minimun period of agreement... i have also post somethink about that in this section of the forum..
