I did a lot of research and found some older threads that say all one should get from an unlocked VZW storm on ATT is EDGE, not 3G....

It that still correct, or have things changed? How about the rogers unit? 9500 perhaps?

I got the answer to my question after doing a search. You will not get 3G and will be limited to Edge.

i am in europe right now, and my storm says 3G on it. the storm's got 3G reception only for the euro frequency. in the states, GSM carrier 3G frequencies vary....
