Guys,
Long time reader first time poster!

I have a client that I am upgrading a BES 4.0.6 for. They have the installer for 4.1.5. They have plenty of CALS on the BES so I am not worried about the out of license messages. Is there anything I should watch out for? Is this a free upgrade?

Also the full installer I have is version 4.1.5, do I have to upgrade to 4.1.6 and then apply the maintenance releases? Or can i just update directly from 4.1.5 to 4.1.6MR5?

Any help would be appreciated.

No.
If your client has t-support, they would get the 4.0 to 4.1 upgrade "free".
If your client does not have t-support, they would have had to purchase the software.

If knot on tsuppot and once the SRP has been upgraded you can download the trial version (4.1.6) and run the install (with your SRP)then apply MR5 after.

Get the full installer for 4.1.6 (user the trial version if you have to, they are the same installation files, just use your clients actual SRP key instead of the trial one when you do the install).

Once on 4.1.6, aply the MR-5 path (maintenance releases are cumulative. you only need the latest one. MR-5 also includes the latest patches for the PDF distiller, which you want).
