I was wondering if there was an application out yet that would make the storm more like the iphone, not requiring you to press the screen in to choose the letter.... just use the sensors to see your finger is on that button and then choose it. I saw it being discussed here before but I can't seem to find the thread. This would be an amazing app... thanks

I haven't seen anything like this. But wouldn't this defeat the purpose of the surepress technology that RIM developed?

that's the point - i'm trying to defeat that functionality because it's awful. I would be able to type SO much faster if I didn't have to press the screen in.... and don't go telling me i should switch to iPhone because I don't want an iPhone and I don't want AT&T. It wouldn't be a difficult application to create...
