I have my hotmail email account associated with my bb and I still don't get any notifications? I mean I get the email message pushed but my friend was using my phone earlier and a little myspace notification came up on my home screen where it would show any message notification. Anyone know why?

i have the same issue with my 8330 so i upgraded to the 4.5 software. it did not improve, my husband has the same BB and it works perfectly. i have deleted the app and reinstalled and still no help from it. im not sure why it does it but we seem to have the same problem

My friend has a yahoo email account so Im wondering if its just hotmail that doesn't work...

I have a yahoo email and I am receiving the emails instead of the MySpace notifications, I uninstalled the app and re-installed it last night hopefully this will help.

(Of course I'm too big in MySpace so it will be a while before I find out if it worked or not.

Issue Resolved!!!!

I removed MySpace from my BlackBerry, then removed the email address associated with MySpace... Re-added the email address and then re-installed MySpace 1.5 now it seems to be working.

I have an 8830..I am also new to FB. I do receive email on friends acceptance. Does FB sent notifications on when friends write on my wall or other friends walls. I have to go online to veiw wall remarks on individual friends walls. Thanks for answering

If it's a response to something you wrote then yep.. you will get a FB notification.

So far so good! As far as notifications go.

I've been seeing error messages along the lines of unable to communicate with MySpace but that is only sometimes when I click on the App, notifications are still working for some reason.
