Hello All

I have a peculiar problem with my Curve 8320. I suddenly stopped receiving mails from my corporate account (which is a small business account configured on Yahoo) around 2 days back.

I have since then tried sending service books, deleting and restoring the email account and also doing a wipe and hard reset on my device.

However, only my Gmail seems to be working after that. That too, all mails are reaching their destinations but I do not get a bcc copy on my BB. And of course, it is not receiving new mails. Once or twice, it picked up a single mail here and there.

Could there be a software issue on my BB? Is there any new OS that I need to instal? It is currently on 4.2.2.180 (Platform 2.5.0.36). I use an unlocked T-Mobile device.

I had dropped my BB around 3 months back after which the sound function seems to be malfunctioning. So, I cannot hear ring tones and put my BB in speaker phone mode. Could there be an issue because of that? I also sweat a lot while taking a long call on my BB due to which some of the sweat needs to be wiped from the device face. Is that likely to be an issue?

Please share your thoughts. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Have you actually deleted the yahoo service book from your Options, Advanced, service books?
Do that, reboot the BlackBerry from a powered on battery pull and then resend the service books.

I don't think moisture will impare your email. It could cause keybkard issues.

Actually the same got fixed...apparently I had too many messages and the message dump was corrupted.

After I deleted all messages, the BB started functioning again.

This is a nice lesson for me and all of you BB colleagues

Hi guys,
I have the same problem: basically 2 days ago for an unknown reason my BB battery decided to vanish in few hours (while it used to stay on for 4 days maybe) and I stopped receiving emails. I already had such a pb with the emails before and I just removed the battery for 60seconds and then everything went back to normal... but not this time.
Basically I have the esxact same problem: but when I "reboot" my phone I get 1 message from 2 days ago, but only 1 I don't know why... it's weird it's like there is some kind of filter that gives up only 1 email sometimes only when I reboot the phone...
Is there a correlation with my battery problem as well? They both started in the exact same time.
It tsarts being annoying as I cannot figure anything else.
I can send and receive BB messenger messages and SMS as well, maybe that helps you guys to help me out here?
