Bluetooth Headset for 8350i ?
Please Login to Remove!
This will be my first bluetooth headset to be used on the 8350i and I'm looking to see what are some of the more popular/better ones for the 8350i amongst the users?
Thanks!!!

JAWBONE 2 is by far the best bluetooth I have ever owned, there are plenty of people who will go either way on this. I love my Jawbone and would not trade it for any other one. Notable ones that I have tried that do not stand up are the BlueAnt V1 and Z9i both are good but not as good as the Jawbone 2. Also, there are several Plantronics out there that are good but again, if you have the money find a place that will allow you to try them out and return if you don't like them and test several at the same time, that's what I did and settled on the Jawbone 2. Good luck

Had an old Plantronics, and both JawBones, the JawBones while expensive offered a far greater call quality then the Plantronics and were alot more comfortable, and I wear my headset for a few hours.

in the beginning (no, this isn't a bible recitation...he he), i had a motorola (flip boom), hated the comfort.
then i moved on to a discovery 640, i liked how the gel piece and the earhook brought the headset snug up against my ear canal....and that headset broke on me.
i then moved on to the jawbone. this was a love hate relationship, because getting it on my ear while driving was a task and then some. plus the eartips and hooks were not ideal, i had to bend the earhooks to get a decent comfort level...
official Aliph support comment regarding the eartips was to go buy jabra eartips....whatever.
i just lost my jawbone, and thought i'm not going to spend anywhere near the asking price for the jawbone 2. so my searching around and comparing the earhooks and eartips led me to buy the blueant v1. it looks like it's got enough adjustability to give the comfort level i want and be fairly easy to put on my ear when driving....
i also bought a supertooth 3 for my wife, seeing that she has a bad habit of holding a phone up to her ear while driving.
my bottom line was not to spend more than 100 $ per item, so i got these both from amazon for 160 $

I have been there done that with the ear piece styles such as the Jabra and Jawbone. I finally took the plunge and just bought a Speakerphone Motorola T505 and love it! No ear piece, sounds is better than an ear piece, FM Transmitter allows me to talk over the FM waves through all my speakers.
Don't think I'd go back to an ear piece now...

my husband and i have the jabra and we were told that its the only one that works with the direct connect with nextel and we love it....now if there are other ones that work with nextel then let me know...but ours works great.

just got the blueant v1 in the mail...
it's an impressive headset...the headset walks you thru instructions via voice...
so far, voice recognition works very well, i haven't had to repeat myself at all.
i like the accessories it came with, there's a 4" usb cable that came with it, and it's a firm cable, so i can twist it any way i want...and charging it via pc took less than 1 hr....nice
overall fit is pretty comfortable with both rubber eartips. i also tried the foam tip and it goes straight into the ear canal, which is nice...but i prefer the rubber tips because the shape helps keep the headset in place better.
easy to put on/take off...
so far very satisfied
