Default Unable to Sync Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

Using 9530 on WinXP with Outlook 2003. Contacts, tasks and memos sync normally, but calendar synced the first time but have not been able to sync since.

Please help.

Outlook is a pain in the butt! It "sort of" worked for me in a web based format.

I have a synced Gmail account recently activated the Google Calendar and it runs flawlessly. Much easier to use and nicer than Outlook. It also synced all my gmail contacts. Unless for some reason you are married to your Outlook account, I suggest moving to Gmail.

I had the same problem (running WinXP and Outlook 2002). Ended up getting RIM tech support to find out that old BB software was the culprit. I had some old programing files tucked away on my hard drive. Once all associated files were deleted and 4.7 was installed everything worked fine. I suggest working your way through Verizon tech support to get to RIM to guide you through. If that doesn't resolve the issue then you may have a corrupt file on your Outlook Calender that needs to be deleted. RIM would be the support for that, as well.

Has anyone had issues with syncing their Lotus Notes Calendar? At first I was able to sync with no issues but a couple of days ago when I try to sync my DM crashes. Any advice?

Outlook, Lotus Notes, Entourage, etc ALL have issues working smoothly on their own. My work Curve - which sits sits in my desk drawer - is synced to my Lotus Notes account however our system is serviced by full time TM personnel. They stay busy troubleshooting all sorts of issues.

I have my Storm synced with Gmail and Google calendar and it runs flawlessly.

If you are having issues, do the nasty now and just convert to a web-based email / calendar. No more plugging into the DM and encountering these issues. Just activate the wireless sync on your Storm and your calendar / email contact list is automatically updated.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

I reinstalled the DM thinking that might fix the sync issue with Lotus Notes, but I still get the same error. This is making me crazy because it was working at one point and I don't know what happened. I did do a wipe on the phone a couple of weeks ago and I don't know if that is what caused the problem. I didn't try to sync right away after that so I don't know if it related or not.

Can anyone tell me if there is something else I should try?
