Default Facebook on Blackberry Notifications

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded the Facebook app and so far I like it but I have a question...
When the app gets a notification I check it and go on my happy way because it no longer shows up in my Blackberry mailbox BUT when I get to work today and open my email all the notifications that came to the Facebook app are in my email. Does the app just capture the emails and put them there? Should I be deleting them from the Facebook app to get them out of my mailbox?

Thanks!

deleting them from the facebook app won't clear the notification on your web facebook account.....one of the biggest complaints about the app. a new version is due out soon, so hopefully this problem (along with the many others) will be fixed. i, too, get tired of looking at everything twice

EDIT: sorry, didn't read your post clearly. you can change the email settings from your facebook web account to not do this i believe. however, some still hit my email inbox anyway. as i said before, it's a buggy app

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8900)

Change the setting in the fb app to not leave the email on server. The only notifications I get in email now are video comments all others go to the fb app
