Default Cost to save large files?

Please Login to Remove!

I am sending some PDFs I use at work a lot to my phone to have them accesible whenever I need them....therefore not having to pay for a PDF reader app.

When I click download attachment it says "This is a large file. For information about fees associated with downloading large files, contact your wireless service provider or adminstator. Continue?

Can anyone shed light on this?......

I have seen the same thing. I believe it is a "canned" warning to ensure you have a data plan that will cover it. As discussed in many of the posts, unlimited is best!

Hope this helps

So there will be no charge?

I have the unlimited data plan (think it is $45/month?)

I have the unlimited plan and have never seen a charge above the monthly fee. I do the same thing you are trying. I store files on the handheld that I use for work so that I have easy access at all times.

Download away!

Verizon's data plan isn't truely unlimited... When I started my account a year ago with them I was informed that unlimited actually meant 5GB per month. After that they start charging you per Kb. Stupid Verizon.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to hit 5GB on your phone. I stream music at work 5 days a week for several hours a day and have never had an overage.
