Default Text forwarding ~ please help?

Please Login to Remove!

Firstly - apologies for joining to ask [probably dumb] questions.

Secondly - apologies for probably putting this in the wrong place.

I need help:

My Blackberry Storm sends voice-texts [of text messages] to my HOME phone if it receives them when the connectivity is down.

I want to stop this and cannot.

HELP!

I think it is Verizon - is there a way I can find out?

In the US verizon is the only carrier of the 9530 unless you got an unlocked phone. Its not the phone who is doing the forwarding but the carrier that's why I ask

I'm in the UK and on Vodafone - and I am utterly clueless about all this.

[sorry]

Its ok, in your VM settings not on the phone but when you call your VM to retrieve them their are settings on how you want to be notified. When you got your phone and it was set up I'd bet they took your HOME number as an alternative number. Call VP or log on to their site and look at your account settings

There are no settings on my [BT] landline voicemail.

I also can't get into my Vodafone account online - I'm waiting for a new password.

Can't I change the settings on my actual Blackberry??

Call your own VM from your storm and you should be able to

Hmmm... If I call my own landline it just rings on to VM and lets me leave a message... nothing else :(

I'm confused.

It's the voicemail on my landline which is getting the text messages that were aimed at my Blackberry.

I don't have any clue how to get voicemail though my Blackberry....

I don't really understand.

sorry.
