Word Mole- Multiplayer error

Hey everyone.
Had my bold for about a week now.
Upgraded to .216, everything seems relatively ok..except battery is awful cant make it through the day with not much use.
The error im getting, when I press "Invite" in the multiplayer section for Word Mole is uncaught.exception.java.nullpointer.
and the game closes.
Anyone have this? I deleted and reinstalled the game several times
Any help is appreciated.
Also- any battery tips would be great...cause compared to the curve, its simply BAD.
