Sorry if this has been asked over and over again. I did some searching, but I couldn't really find one difinitive answer.

Does any current BB O/S (for the Curve 8330 atleast) allow HTML to be viewed in your email? Or does this currently have to be done via a third party application?

Welcome to the forums. You will need OS 4.5 on your device, and then resend the service books.

Assuming you have the right OS and service books, you also need to enable HTML mail: within the Messages app, go to "Options > Email Settings" and set "Enable HTML Email" to "Yes".

Never had to resend books before. But I do want to enable html email and it is not available in any of the options settings in my email app. So how does one resend the books? Step by step would be happy. I will also check the FAQ's to see if this is listed there.

I have found more answers to my questions in BBForums using Google than I have just searching inside the site. Anyway, I found the answer in the FAQ's.

OK. I followed all of the steps to get my books resent and apparently got them. I have pulled the battery several times (waited over 60 seconds each time before replacing the battery) and still have no HTML options in email settings. Is this a BIS only option? Since I am on an enterprise server will I not be able to get html email?

Running ATT 4.5.0.110. Do I need to update to the newest version for the 8310?

You will have HTML email on all email from BIS coming in after your service books have been sent. Anything previously on the device will not be HTML.

You need to have BES 4.1.5 or higher to receiving HTML.

I have a similar issue, however after upgrading to 4.5.0.131 Sprint, I resent service books, selected HTML and auto download pictures, did the battery pull and soft reset thing. My yahoo email accnt displays HTML however my COX email account does not. Any thoughts on what else to do in order to get html service working on my COX email account.

I get that my old email wouldn't be in HTML but my question is, will I even see the HTML email options in mail settings if I am only on BES and not on BIS?

You're BES has to be version 4.1.5 or higher for HTML functionality.
