Default New to Curve

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a 8300 2 days ago and i inserted my 4gb micro sd and works perfectly all of the files show up but when i plug in the curve via usb to put music on my sd the explorer dose not show up so i can put music on the card. dose any one know why this is happening. i have enabled mass storage and everything this worked perfectly with my pearl for like 2 years.

You need to enable Mass storage.

Menu>Options>Advanced Options>Media Card>Mass Storage Mode Support = ON.

Did it come from the 8100 and were you running a lower version OS? If so you may need to copy the content of the card to your PC for save keeping and format the card in the 8300 and then copy files back to it.

i did that exact thing cause i was searching around and saw it. but it still dosent work for some reason.

everything is the same from when it worked on my pearl. all the drives everything is fine. i just put it in the curve and it stopped working i dont know what the problem is

That's a common issue with windows assigning drive letters and I've had the same problem when plugging in various usb drives.

If that's the problem soccer; if you have anything mapped as E, F or G try changing that to another letter, then plug the phone in.

i tried that it dint work. i plugged my brothers pearl in and worked perfectly but the curve just wont....
