i was abroad for the Christmas holidays, in switzerland, where i have another phone. so i let the bold on the shelf in my room and it ran out of power a about 4 days ago. so yesterday i plugged it back in and the red light turns on, and when i plug it into my mac, missing sync for blackberry opens, but when i press the power button it does not turn on... can someone help me please

Hello mate,

My BlackBerries have always done this when they have run out of power - it should take an hour or so before it comes to life again :(

I have NO idea why this is the case - if there is mains power flowing into it I could never get my head around why it wouldnt turn on immediately - but there we are.

Hope yours turns on after a while!!!

i had it plugged into my computer all night but it still wont turn on, i take the battery out and put it back in, but nothing happens...

LEAVE it plugged a few hours, and remove/replace the battery while STILL plugged to the USB to reboot. You should be fine.

thanks it worked, i just needed to plug it into the stand alone charger, my mac must have been not giving all the power to my bb
