My BB won't turn on. I get a white screen with the hour glass icon for a few seconds before the screen goes black and the red led comes on. The led turns off and the process starts over. I've taken the battery out and nothing changed. The phone was working fine about 5 minutes before this started.

Did you drop it on the floor or in water or anything?
Or something else that you may think could mess it up.

Don't be shy to say it, otherwise we can't help you.
If it helps, the first time i threw my phone (ever), it was hard enough to make the back cover come off and the battery and SIM card fall out.

No...I can't think of any reason there would be problems. In fact, I had just ended a phone call about 5 minutes prior to discovering there was a problem. I hung up the phone, put it in my pocket and when I pulled it out to make another call it was in the reboot process. It's been continuously doing this for the past few hours. I've tried removing the battery and leaving it out for a while but it just starts the reboot cycle again when I put the battery back in.

It doesn't sound like a battery problem, cause if it were it'd say battery low when you turn it on, but have you tried plugging it in for a little and then turning it on?

try plugging the phone into the computer with the battery out and running dm. if you can get it to connnect try reloading the OS
