Post Using the Wi-Fi Connection

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9000 --my first phone with Wi-Fi. The setup was a breeze and I was quickly connected to my wireless network. However, I don't know if I am benefiting from it. Once connected to my wireless network, will the Bold automatically use the Wi-Fi connection to handle all Internet access (other than e-mails)? Or, do I have to do something in order to browse the web and download files using the Wi-Fi connection? Are there other uses for the Wi-Fi connection in a non-corporate environment? Unfortunately, the Destop Manager will not synchornize over a wireless network.
