Question Beejive Notification Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I've been having a problem when receiving new messages on beejive. The notification light is set to a certain color, so I know that it's an IM. So when I receive a message the light begins to blink, and doesn't stop until I shut down the device. I will check the message, and no outstanding SMS or emails, and the light just keeps blinking.

I checked in preferences and the only option is the color of the light and not to shut it off. My profiles also don't give me this option. My BB is set for coverage indicator to be off, and the only way to stop the blinking without restarting is to turn this indicator on and then off again.

Has anything else found this problem?

Thanks

Have you checked your ring profiles for the "repeat notification" setting? I don't use BBM but I know you can tweak this for other messages.

Yea I did, I figured that would have done it, but sadly it didn't. I checked the Beejive support page and couldn't find anything about this either, except forum threads of other users with the same problem.

It's not that it's a huge deal, but it gets annoying because I get a flashing light in my face whenever I look at the screen.

Oh, also I'm using a 8820 with 4.5.0.81, and Beejive is up to date.
