Download Plazmic Theme Builder 4.6. When you go into the custom option, lay out the icons the way you want them. There should be a box that you can check off that says "Use device application order". Check off that box for each of the icons and you should be able to customize the bottom zen.

Highlight all of the icons. Use the alignment tools. The Spacing part of the alignment tool will make the icons evenly spaced apart and the alignment part of the alignment tool will make the icons even across the bottom.

Window -> Alignment

you need to highlight all the icons on the homescreen then you can click on the alignment icon (number1 in attached picture) that will space them evenly

Then click on number2 in attached picture that will make the even across the screen.

Hightlighting the icons you want to align is the important part you need to hold the Ctrl key and click once on each one to select more than 1 at a time.

No problem.

Since you want a bottom zen theme, take the icons you want and put them on the main screen. Arrange them roughly how you want them along the bottom (They don't have to be perfect.) After they are arranged along the bottom roughly how you like them, highlight all of them and go to the alignment tool. Under "Alignment", click the button all the way to the right. Under Spacing, click the button on the left.

Hopefully that made sense...

(And the way B1gg13 is saying to do it will work as well.)
