how do you increase the volume of the ringer so that it is louder .i have it all the way up and can still barely hear it,got every thing set to loud,,,,,is there anything else i can do

Add the vibrate feature.
Under profiles, I assume you options on the phone are set to high and your device volume is at 100%.


Also, if you have songs saved to a media card, consider using one of them

If you like the ringtones that came with your device but they just aren't loud enough, check out this post over at crackberry.com. It was in response to someone saying their ringtones were too loud, but everything in the post applies - adjust the volume to your liking. You can also apply this to your own custom ringtones.

I customized my Ringer_BBpro_4 with a gain of 105, and it seems good enough for me. I'm concerned that if I make it much louder I might damage the speaker.

Weird, I am using a ring tone that came with my blackberry 8320 and I have to keep the volume of the ring down a little bit so its not deafening..
