Bought Walmart Scosche brand or whatever, $10---multiple adapters, 2.5mm-3.5mm took about 5 attempts to product sound, only right channel....

Bought Radioshack brand 2.5-3.5mm stereo adapter, $7--works, KINDA... the aux cable is standard 3.5mm and when plugged all the way in, it does nothing, if out a little bit, it works, but not 100% if it's stereo, i think it's just mono but both channels are split so maybe?


I've seen 3 other products online, and after getting my $16 back, please advise on correct adapter to get that works with AUX cables for car cd players...

This Verizon wireless one? anyone have a part # / exact name

Please help, i'm not spending another dime until someone has one that works with AUX cable out (RCA > 3.5mm aux cable)

**had to switch from blackberry 8300, which has stereo 3.5mm, RIM screwed up by making this dumb 2.5mm plug, i needed the 8800 so I could go to work without a camera (prohibited where i work)

I have one of the BlackBerry ones. They do indeed provide stereo sound. None of the others work.

K, going to place order, so these blackberry official adapters product stereo sound from an aux or car output?

Most will work with headphones, but will it work for aux out, etc?

ordering anyways i suppose....
