hey you guys,

I'm new here, but probably one of you can answer my maybe silly question.

i'm using a BB7730 os4 with desktop manager 4 and no special extra software installed.

my colleague is using the exact same one, same config and code levels.

when he misses a call, the next time he unlocks his blackberry, he gets a big pop-up saying "you missed 1 call" with the option to clear or view

I don't get that message, just a small telephone and a message in the phone item.

We checked every setting there is on these gadgets, but didn't find anything usefull. Any ideas on how to get this pop-up message working?

Go into your Phone icon-->Options-->General Options-->Phone Llist View-->set to "Yes"

on my 7520, i set that same option on mine to 'call log' and I get the pop up.

That option, at least with the current software i have which is the latest Verizon 4.0 is not available on the 7250.

call log in the options did the trick

the option yes doesn't show up there, only most recent, most used, name and call log.

anyway, it's fixed, thanks for fast replies.

I have a brand new 7250 and changed the setting and it works fine. Thanks for the info.
