Any chance that AT&T is moving a bit slow on releasing the Bold so that the competition won't have it until after the holiday season? I'm sure they would like to be the only game in town......

How long is the exclusive "lock" with AT&T? If they have a 90 day lock, an early October release date would put the competition at about, huummmmmm.... January 1, 2009.

Hmmmm. Since T-Mobile has the Javelin and the Kickstart to release this year, and the Bold doesn't work on their 3G frequencies, I'm not sure about this...

Good point. Just because those of us here want the Bold so badly, doesn't mean that everyone else does as well. I expect cell phone sales will be just fine for the holiday season for all carriers regardless of their Blackberry offerings.
