Default wifi

Hi there, I am a new blackberry owner
I recently got the pearl and my daughter the curve.
Couple of questions (we are in Canada), what exactly does a blackberry plan allow u to do? Also if conncected to wifi is it costing money on my plan?
I have a wifi palm pilot and pay nothing to hook to internet with that.
I am so confused, but LOVE my phone.

The BlackBerry data plan gives you email and Internet browsing. No additional cost for using WiFi.

Depending on how much data you have, it may be helpful to have WiFi, as it will not go against the data plan. My 8820 automatically connects to my home WiFi, and uses that around the house to connect instead of using the phone provider's (Rogers in my case) phone data.

Wirelessly posted

Wifi-g is also typically faster than edge if you have good reception.

OH and you can't go wrong with the new promotional 6GB BB plan either, you'll never have to worry about over usage, its pretty much unlimited without rogers having to label it unlimited.

Why don't you just give Rogers a call and see what they can set you up with?
