Hi everyone,

I have returned to Blackberry after a little trip in the Microsoft world. I have a Verizon curve which is great but I have 2 issues.

The first is probably easy and its happened to me on older blackberry's. When I open my inbox the email defaults to like 15 days ago so I have ot either alt-I or scroll up. Very annoying.

The second is even weirder. I don't seem to be receiving text messages. I have the SMS inbox seperate and it is not hidden. The only thing in there is voice mails. I do have 2 envelope icons, one is obviously emails and the next one is slanted which I thought was for text. Any ideas?

Tap the T key in the email messages and see if it takes you to the top of the list, newest listed first.

On your SMS, I don't know. If you open your SMS folder, and send one, does your sent text appear there?

Wow, T works. How embarrassing

No on the txt message. There are none there. Only Voicemails in that folder. On the same plan, with the same number (different phone) I have received txt before.

Nope, I get (SMS error 97, Message ID 2) Service denied

Hmm, I wonder If verizon deal with txt differently on Blackberrys.
