Hi.. I am a total technology geek, ESPECIALLY cell phones. However, for some reason in the last 30+ months I have had Sprint I have NEVER tried a Blackberry... until now!! I went through tons of other phones and finally tried the Blackberry Pearl 8130... OMG I am in LOVE. My friend is on T-Mobile and he has the 8100.
So far I have figured out how to do quite a lot from playing around and reading this site. Both on my phone and his phone.
I do need a little help, mostly with his T-mobile 8100.
1.) Ringers. I can't figure out how to send him ringers. I tried myxer.com which works for mine, but he never receives the text. (btw he is visiting and is in a BAD area for T-mobile and is usually showing on the ATT network). I tried sending as an attachment, but it doesn't give him a way to download. I am at a loss.
2.) E-mail. He doesn't have the icon for e-mail settings and under setup wizard it doesn't give him the option to add a new e-mail account. He has tried clicking show all on the app screen, still nothing. So he can't set up the "push" e-mail. Any thoughts?
I want to thank all of you for providing an awesome forum for a new Blackberry addict. I am constantly reading and learning and just in HEAVEN!!
