[Blackberry1.8T]

In search of new carrting cases I found blackberrysource.com. Has anyone done business is with this company. This is what I'm interested in Horizontal Leather Case. My concern is that they don't have the sleeper mode like the one that came with the OEM are not a part of the case.

I also have realized that any magnite will essentially have the same effect to put the phone in sleeper mode. Is this true or is it a fluke? Are there anyone else who uses a different case and not the OEM, if so please let me know where you got it. Thanks.


P.S. why is it next to impossible to find a different case for the "G" model??? Is it bc of it's new status on the market? The also have a Plastic Holster I know it says it's for the t and r but I just wanted to make sure.

The horizontal leather case will fit the 7100g but does not have the magnet sleeper switch. The plastic holster is just for the 7100t and 7100r as they have a unique shape vs the 7100g. ww.BlackBerrySource.com is owned by eAccess and we test everything that we sell. I will say that the case I just bought for my 7100G from UniqueMobile is one of the nicest cases I have ever used for a mobil device. I highly recommend it.

It does not have a magnet for the "sleeper/hoster function" specifically BUT there are two magnets on the closure (the flap area) that activate the "holster function as the BB passes by going into the case.

I purchased an OEM leather case and the Motorola bluetooth headset for my 7100G from them just this week for a great price (and the "ground" shipping arrived the next day. I may be buying another case now that I know others are coming out in the next two weeks....all of the current ones look cheap or not specifically designed for the 7100g.
