I subscribe to some video podcasts (Loaded, from CNET TV, for example) and I just downloaded MediaSync to synchnronize my 8300 with iTunes podcasts. All went well, but it could not sync the m4v files and the mp4 files.

Any idea why so?

What happens when you try? Any error messages?

No error messages, but just that at the end of the sync, I get a message saying there were some items that were not transferred and it gives me a link to open up a list of items that were not transferred.

If these files have DRM on them you may not be able to transfer them. I know DRM does some strange things.

No, these are not DRM-ed. These are simply video podcasts that are available for free not only in iTunes, but also from their website, and are playable in various other programs like WMP.

I haven't read the documentation but it sounds like it only supports mp3's or m4a's. Maybe that will come in future versions.

I'm going through the same thing with SyncTunes for the mac. Only audio files transfer and no video mp4 or m4v. Does the 8330 play these files or do we need to convert them to 3gp?
