I'm considering moving from Palm to the Blackberry platform. I'd like my next device to support a tethered mode for laptop data use.

Having read the various FAQs, I can see that most modern models can do this. But which, if any, have high speed data? For example does a T-Mobile blackberry support EDGE? Or just older GRPS data?

THe existing GSM/GPRS BlackBerrys do not support EDGE, and the existing CDMA BlackBerrys (Verizon) do not support EVDO. Supposedly there is going to be software to support EVDO, but not EDGE on the GPRS BBs...
