Default My Blackberry is Dead

Please Login to Remove!

I Can turn on my Curve and scroll up and down with the track ball but I can't answer a call or access any folders. I can't select anything. Is there a reset i can try to get this curve going?I have already connected this to my computer and tried updating but still have the same issues. Is there a manual reset button or something I can do? Right now it is a paperweight. Please help.

Try a batterie pull, if that doesn't work call your service provider ,they will send you a refurbished unit under warranty even if you don't have insurance.

You can't select anything? Are you pressing the trackball to select? What happens if you highlight an icon and press the enter key? Does it select the application?

If so, the issue would appear to be the trackball is not longer working properly

I am out of warranty and Att does not offer insurance. I am stuck between a rock and hard place. So no manual reset button huh?

I can't select anything with the track ball or buttons. Anything else I can try.

What happened to make the phone do this. Did it happen all of a sudden or after installing software or dropping or . . . . .

It just happened all of a sudden. I was at a club and when I got out, my phone would not select a damn thing. Any sites where I can get one for a decent price?

I was just dancing with my girl and then the phone became a veggie. What if I spray this thing with Contact Cleaner?

It is too late for the insurance on the phone now. It has been over a year since I purchased the phone.

What is contact cleaner--the spray for electrical components, like using before welding to remove the flux compounds?

While dancing in your club, did you get sweaty with the BB in your pocket?

You got it wet, yea. I don't know that I would spray it with that.

Normally recommended is isopropyl high purity rubbing alcohol.
