Default JDE cannot find Java 2 Runtime Environment

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, I am hoping ye can help me. I have downloaded the Blackberry JDE but when I try to run it an error message is displayed indicating that it cannot find the Java 2 Runtime Environment. I have tried changing the system path in the environment variables but to no avail.
I understand that this has probably already been dealt with in the Forum and have every intention of continuing my search but if anyone could provide me with the appropriate information quickly I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
ktb
