ok i tried to download yahoo go beta 3.0 to my new sprint curve. and they said that go is not available for the 8330 yet. is there a work around for this i had yahoo go on my 8130 basically the same OS.

i can live without it. but it would be nice to have.

The 8830 was out a few months before it worked on any of the Yahoo programs. I am sure they want to accommodate the Curve as well.

just updating everyone.. been on the phone with sprint and they said it is a known issue for some handsets... everyone who is having problems with yahoo ANY yahoo services need to call in and have them put in a ticket. they will give back to you in 48 hours...

(im thinking the correct service book isnt downloading to the phone)

This is for Messenger only on the 8330...

I just took the Yahoo Service Books from the following link:
Box.net - Free Online File Storage, Internet File Sharing, Online Storage, Access Documents & Files Anywhere, Backup Data, Send Files

I used the BB Desktop Manager "Restore" function to restore the .ipd file to my Sprint Curve 8330. I then went to https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=sprint and re-sent my service books and voila! Y! Messenger v2.0.46 now works like a champ.
