I am thinking about going out a get the sprint BB 8330. I wanted to make sure I am still able to take pictures and send them out as MMS to other people. I currently have the Sprint/Nextel IC902. Can anyone verify this?

Um...... I cannot do MMS messaging with either of my Sprint devices..... Sprint doesn't support MMS on a BlackBerry device - unless this changed with the 8330.

Juwaack, it doesn't load to the Sprint photo site and you send from there?

I thought I had read of users sending MMS and it actually sends the link from the Sprint site? If I am wrong, certainly correct me.

From the Sprint site, maybe (I believe there is a workaround here somewhere).

But I have no option from the device for Send MMS. Only Send SMS Text.

confirmed. no mms on sprint 8330. no option to send as sms.
curve 8330 doesnt have direct connect if thats important to you.

correct you cant send MMs from a sprint BB I tried this on my brothers Bb just now.

you can send mms messages through sprint blackberry's to other phone the only thing you need is there picture mail email address and it will send it their phone. so when you are sending a picture from your phone to theirs as an email just write their adress in this format [email address]

i think thats the correct format...its either sprintpcs or just sprint, if thats not it then tell me and i will get the correct answer......i work at a store

yea thats different. i read somewhere online that they had a conference call and that sometime in summer they will release an update for the phones to send MMS. if there is another way besides emailing to the picture mail account, id love to know. ive tried it before that doesnt ever work. theynever receive the picture

Can anyone send MMS messages with Sprint 8330?
