Default 8130 Pearl No EVDO!

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my pearl for less than a month and it was working fine until yesterday. Yesterday my EVDO randomly turned off. My brother's mongul's evdo went out also. He got his EVDO back yesterday night as mine didn't go back on at all. I've tried everything from taking the battery out to restarting a million times. I have checked my settings also everything seemed to be on and working fine. The rep from sprint told me to get a replacement. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem before and could offer me a fix. If not i'll just go for the replacement.
Thanks in advance!

are you getting at least a 1x signal or does it say that the wireless antenna is off?

Try this:

Options->Mobile Network->Click the BB Menu Button and select "Start Provisioning"

It's still under the 1 month warranty so i'm going to bring it back and hopefully this will never happen again. Quick question i backed up all my stuff when i get my replacement pearl should i restore it with the broken pearl backup?

Wirelessly posted

That's weird, I don't have the "start provisioning" option!

On a related question. My 8130 on Alltel shows 1XEV. Is this what I should expect to see?

On verizon, I was told 1XEV is the same as EVDO. Does anybody know if they're feeding me a line?
