if they release the full install on the e-shop site, I`ll gona do it. But till yet it´s not there. 4.1.4 was there even 1 week before the puplic release.
I plan on loading it immediately in test ... I dunno about you but I really would wait a least a week (if not a month) after its RTM before installing any service pack (unless there is an acknowledged fix to a problem you're having).

Same here. It will go immediately in to test, and then eventually into Prod.
the only thing that i`ll want is the monitoring feature, for all other features we need the new OS 4.5
That's why I want SP5 to come out before OS 4.5. I'd like to have time to install it in Test, use it in test and finally install in Prod BEFORE OS 4.5 comes out.
I am still running Needtext. They gave me a permanent eval key . Was getting ready to buy it when RIM bought the company. So I can't wait to implement it. I am probably going to roll it into our production Exchange pilot. So I will let you know.
Needtext was horrible and RIM had to remove a lot of inaccurate and otherwise worthless counters from the product. SNMP is not the way to go for reporting, accuracy, etc. As hdawg mentioned, prepare to be underwhelmed if you're actually used to monitoring applications; if you have had no involvement with any type of monitoring and do not know what to look for, then it might suit your fancy. Regardless, it's poo (but better than nothing, especially for those on a tight budget).
