Default No Keep Appointments field under Calendar Option

Please Login to Remove!

When I go to the Calendar Menu and click Options there is not one for Keep Appointments. I want to be able to automatically delete appointments which are "x" number of days old but Keep Appointments is not there to do so.

Welcome to the BBF.

scroll toward the bottom of that screen... Calendar > Options. It should listed toward the bottom just under "Show end time in agenda view" and above "Show Tasks".

Default No Keep Appointments field under Calendar Option

There is no option to Keep Appointments under the Calendar Option in the places you've suggested or anyplace else.

I would resend your service books from your BIS account.

Did you set up your email account on your carrier's BIS website?

If not, follow these instructions:
How to add / delete email addresses - BlackBerryFAQ.com

To resent the service boosk, use these instructions:
How do I resend my service books? - BlackBerryFAQ.com

I have the same problem.. cant find the option keep appointments. However, i dont have any service books since none of the providers offer BB service.
Did anyone manage to solve this problem? I have over 2000 calendar appts that I would hate to manually go and delete.
Is the option Keep appointments associated with the BB service?
Thanks

I too have the same problem and can't figure out what to do. I do not have the email service through my carrier. Am I up the proverbial creek without a paddle?

Hey all - I just got a 8310 and I don't have the "Keep appointments.." option either. My previous 8700 did have that option. I did a batt pull, resent service books, etc. Anyone else have any ideas as to how to make this option show up?

I am no expert of 4.3 OS. Could it be in a different location than what you are accustomed to seeing in the 8700 you had?

No...it's supposed to be in the same location - Calendar - options - keep appointments...it's just not there.

Default Here's more.

I had a customer w/ that same problem and it has occured on an 8310 and an 8300 (both AT&T). we decided to do a wipe of the BB and a reload of the OS if needed. Will let you know results when we are done (and may I hope they are good results).
