Just curious. I have a theme I really like but it seems like since I started using it my 8100 seems more sluggish. Might just be my imagination, but I'm generally curious and didn't see and links to BB performance and Themes in a brief search through past threads.

I think it does, given the graphics, shortcut layout. Some themes would have additional apps. For example, OS4.2.2's Vodafone Today theme has Music player.

yes themes do affect memory which affects performance. Delete any theme you are not using to aleviate this

Definitly not a memory issue, I have over 33 megs free.

I have personally noticed a significant difference with different themes concerning both battery life and performance. Some themes are just needy!

its actually dependant on the themes ram requirment to run - ie background images / movements etc.
Overall question is the the theme is teeny weeny or heavy duty
