Default ATT 8310 Curve or Blackjack 2??

Please Login to Remove!

What should I get, both are 99.99.

Internet options, especially how BlackJack 2 cant go on certain websites. Does curve go on all?

Help...

How could we answer that question if you do not tell us what you are looking for in a device?

i went thru the same issues two month ago, i got bored with my pearl and went and got the blackjack... to make a long story very very short... I went back to curve after three weeks with blackjack. I red a lot about how bad micosoft phones are, but I had no idea that it was gonna be a nightmare.

take an advise from an old man.. stay away from the blackjack unless you get a Dr. to write you a prozac prescription

I purchased the curve today after my 7130c died.. The person attending me was this really cute blonde girl. so i started talking with her a little. and she mentioned that she has the black jack 2 and her coworker has the curve. she told me she really doesnt like the black jack 2 at all and would much rather have the curve.

I have to say i love the curve. Ive been playing around with it for the past 2 hours.

go with the blackberry. if a cute blonde gives it 2 thumbs up compared to the blackjack, i think thats a good indication ;)

Since I do not like Windows Mobile I personally would have gone with the Curve as well if I was in your place.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Definately the curve. I just upgraded from the HP IPAQ 6910 which runs windows mobile. I finally got fed up always having to reset my windows mobile phones. This is my 4th windows mobile phone (MDA, HP 6315, HP 6515, HP 6940) and my second blackberry (7100t, 8300). So far not one reset except when accessing my micro SD card.

If you want to dig through several layers of menus to find what you need every time you need to do something- and don't forget to "close" the programs with task manager - get the Blackjack 2. Kidding aside, the only advantage of the Blackjack is 3G if you have the need to surf a lot on the "small" screen.

If you want reliable simplicity and the state of the art in email and texting- get the Curve - for those out there still looking.

Congratulations on your Curve purchase. I have had a Curve since the week it launched. I picked up a BJ II the week it launched in November because I'm a sucker for shiny and new toys. Plus they sold it to me at the upgrade price even though I used my upgrade in June to get the 8300. And since it was on sale Thanksgiving Weekend I couldn't resist.

It's my fourth WM device since June. I was given a Mogul on Sprint to play with around the same time I got the Curve. I also had BlackJack and a Dash. I liked them enough to keep giving WM phones a try.

So, my work e-mail was pulling just fine for about three weeks to the BJ II, and I was going back and forth between the Curve and the BJ II. Then two weeks ago it just quit pulling my e-mail. I deleted the account, set it up again, no good. It's been sitting idle since then. It's pretty useless to me if it can't reliably fetch all my e-mail all the time like the BB can.

My red Curve arrived on Friday. I'll be selling the BJ II this coming Friday. I won't really miss it. Then again, I'll be getting a Pantech Duo with the proceeds of the BJ II sale, because I can't resist shiny new toys.

I've been using BBs for a year and a half. I always go back to the BB. It just works.

I just got the Curve, as well, after 2 years with an 8700. Love the additional features, but I gotta say the keys are tiny! And, the 8700 felt so much more solid! Well, there's always compromise I guess.

The comparison between a Blackberry and the Samsung Blackjack is not really a fair one, especially in this environment!

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon though and tell you that there is no doubt which is the better device. The Curve is hands-down a better unit. RIM makes phones. Samsung makes TV's, Refrigerators, Stereos, ect.... sticking with the known company is a great idea.

Besides, Windows can't get their OS to run smoothly on a computer, what makes you think that it will be any better on a handheld device?
