Ok, so made the mistake of upgrading to DM 4.3; real buggy so I uninstalled that and re-installed 4.2 sp2. Now I'm getting the following error: "internal error: see logs" Not very helpful. ANy ideas? Not even sure where to find "the logs". Any help would be appreciated! Oh, I'm on BIS btw.

Hello, Cellguy.

At that point do you receive that error? Is it when you're trying to syncronize? The logs can be found by clicking on the Syncronize icon, then click the Configuration tab, then click the 'View Log' button.

There is also a thread around here somewhere with instructions for completely uninstalling Desktop Manager....I don't think just removing it via Add/Remove programs will do the trick (cleanly). Let me see if I can find it.

I noticed a similar issue if my PC had any components of Roxio whether it be related to the blackberry or not.

Make sure everything is out.

Is your PC running Vista or XP?

Yes, happening when I try to sync. Found the log. Only thing it said was: Internal Error #4238.
Translation Canceled!

Not very helpful. I'm going to try the complete removal and reinstall and see if that helps.
