I haven't seen a clear pattern yet, but that's one thing that doesn't seem to carry over consistently from one OS version to the next during an upgrade.

LOL yea bro, I tried everything. Luckily, a guy from the tmobile pda tech was able to push the service book by resetting everything, including the server. Now I'm back on track Thanks though!

I just installed it on my BB. It's quicker than 4.2. Everything is working so far for me.

don't know if it's me, but I've been upgrading all along, version after version. all of a sudden, .46 seems a bit unstable. I'm getting alot of freezing and hanging. nothing new on my system except BBUnite! which I just uninstalled because I could not get that working via web admin. I deleted the remote controller on the Device, and rebooted. seems also seem a bit slower, almost a pause, when going from say, main screen to 2nd screen (using Precision Zen 1.2).
File free, as of now (12 hours after last wipe and fresh reinstall) : 4412999 Bytes
Also, my battery is draining like there's no tomorrow. unplugged from charger at around 7:45AM today. currently 8:55 AM, so just over an hour, I'm at 90%. by noon, I'll lose a bar or two on charge.. this is definitely not close to what I had previously.
any suggestions?
by the way, option software on device :
Viigo Beta
Yahoo msgr
aim msgr
windows msgr
live search (not working as quickly, lately)
facebook
blackberry tools (quincy and the others)

I like the guys in the PDA support group at T-Mo customer care - always had great experience with them. Provided a load of support when I was using an MDA with Windoze Mobile. They really knew the product, knew about hacked ROMs and didn't give me grief, but instead actually helped me get the most of the of the device and OS -- and when I called them, it was generally late at night. Good team there...
Glad you got things going again. I hate to post suggestions that might be obvious to you. Back to my big issue of the moment: wishing/looking for .48 (or better) for my 8300!!! (sigh).

I'm having a lot of "HTTP error 400: Bad Request. The server could not understand the page or request, or it was unable to process it for some reason. Please try loading a different page" On details you can see "Connection refused". This happens on plenty of pages, but not all. I have 4.5.0.46 on a 8100.
Anyone else having this problem?

it seems Viigo/Tango Beta has been really acting up last night and today, ever since fresh install. my batter, at 2:45PM today was at 58%. 2 phone calls for a total of maybe 2 minutes, 2 Viigo updates maybe 3, and not a whole lot of emails.. so I got me a battery problem, eh?

If you know how to mix cod files from different builds, you could mix 4.5.0.18's camera modular/cod files into .46's folder. It was reported to work well.

I have done three beta upgrades and I am now on .44 and I think I am going to stay there until the official release. I have not had a single problem, so I figure, why push it.

I don't blame you! Unless I come across any issues with .46, I will be staying with this until official comes out.

.46 working ok after 2-3 days here.. memory leak seems to have slowed a bit..
Im curious what camera issues are you people having??
I just noticed last week on .44 that all of a sudden the quality of my pictures has gone to complete crap. looking at pics I took when I first got the Curve (4.2.2 direct from Cingular) and recently, there seems to be a hell of a lot of added noise to the pictures.
The first few I took I was shocked at how good the quality on the BB was.
Now I look at recent ones I took and it looks like my 10 year old crappy Intel webcam pictures!!

For me as well, though I wiped the device before the upgrade and then downloaded the facebook app fresh.

ok, I'm having serious issues here. this is ironic as I've been lucky so far with all other builds. my memory is going to zero daily. this is on a fresh install after wife. will have to try again. I am going to delete from PC first, wipe device, reinstall to pc, and reinstall to device.. something must be corrupt somewhere, because this was workign well before.

I just realized when I loaded this OS, I also selected all the themes from various vendors, as I had not seen most. that's alot of memory right there, so I am deleting from device.. let's see how that goes before anything else.
UPDATE: deleted those themes, kept precision and the basic BB ones, and reinstalled Viigo Beta. current File Free : 12178432 is this good, bad, ok?

Okay,I got my Facebook app to work. I had to reinstall it lol. I don't know why I didnt think to do that at first.
I've been having memory leaks, but a pull of the battery and everything is back to normal.
