Well People, I found the radio signal and the POR's intolerable so I have come back to .44 from .46.
The version may have fixed something, not really sure, but I know there was a reason for it other thanthe Quincy stuff! wink-wink

What happened to T-Mobile Zen in .46? It seems I have T-Mobile but not the Zen variant.

Yeah I've only seen 4.5.0.42 for the 8120 :(
EDIT: Sorry for the double post, I thought it would merge posts like it does on most forums

Quick question, should I use JL to wipe or just do it from the device?
EDIT: I just read that it doesnt delete the OS, so I will use JL to get a clean start.

Ok, I upgraded to .46 and decided to downgrade back to .42 because my BB just randomly turns off on every phone call. Now, I can't receive any emails, I tried resending my Service Book numerous times, and I don't even get the confirmation emails. No luck also on Resending HRT.. I spoke with a Tmobile PDA tech earlier she lied to me by saying RIM is experiencing a problem, I'm calling her a liar because my brother's email is working fine.
What's also weird is, I don't even see the Email Set-Up icon. My BB Messenger also is down. Surprisingly though, Jivetalk is working.
I don't know what exactly is going on, but I have not experience this problem before. Feel free to suggest whatever is on your mind

Out of curiosity -- did you check your APN settings under Options / Advanced / TCP? I've been using an unlocked 8300 on T-Mobile (which works beautifully), but find that when I replace the OS, the APN sometimes reverts to a cingular address, instead of T-mobile. I haven't seen a clear pattern yet, but that's one thing that doesn't seem to carry over consistently from one OS version to the next during an upgrade.

I tried to install 4.5.0.46 for my 8320. But, when it erased the apps and data, then loaded everything, it rebooted. After that I got the "507 error, and it said that setup could not continue! No matter what, I cannot get past that point. Fatal Error. Since then, I re-installed 4.2, restored my backup so the phone is working fine. It just won't accept the upgrade! How did you install the .46 to your 8320?
I have done plenty of upgrades, deleted vendor xml, all that, but this just leaves me stymied! Maybe I somehow got a bad OS download? Is that possible?
BTW, using the latest 4.5 DM, Windows Vista home premium.

Anyone else with an 8310 on TMobile and this OS have a browser service book?

I am on .46 with TMO and I have the browser. It wasn't there after the upgrade but it eventually came. I think I did the host routing table thing.

TZones has been doubling for some time now. Not sure what that's all about.

Well I hate to mess with a good thing, but I love all the free space I can get...is it safe to delete all the pics, voice dial, etc. that I dont want, or will this cause complications? I currently have 28MB free...pretty sure I can get that close to if not over 40MB with a clean.

I use that every time I clean my phone. Just wondered if it was safe to do with .46.

Cool this will give me something to do assuming my phone makes it through the night with no problems.
