Do you mean inline with their pricing for the 8800? I believe they wanted $549 for that which is off the charts.

OK -- if it is inline with other carriers, then I will be psyched.

I've been waiting for this phone for a long time (I have TMO@home), but I don't want to pay through the nose for it.

"Individual units are priced at $249.99 with $50 rebate with new activation, net price of $199.99 (excluding tax, shipping). Orders placed today and tomorrow will go out Friday . . . "

Mark (or anybody else privy to the information)...

Do you know what the colors are being called? I know they are Gray/Silver and Gold, but do they have any specific marketing names? For example, the Pearl Red is Sunset... Trying to hack T-Mo's CMS to see if the images exist yet.

Thanks!

Inline with "contract" pricing for current T-Mobile blackberries...

I didn't want to post the prices he gave because I am not sure of the discount rate my company gets.. compared to retail store sales....

No. I don't work for t-mobile. I work for a large global company (can't say name), and am stationed at the US HQ site for a customer who is a global pharmaceutical company (can't say name) where I provide blackberry, bes and end user support.... As such, I work closely with the reps from T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.

My T-Mobile rep is nice enough to provide me with their latest devices as soon as he can that I may evaluate them, make sure they are acceptable (PC software has to go through validation program), so that my users can immediately order upon release.

He shares with me information, gives me direct access to a RIM support employee, etc... Some of it is confidential, which I will NOT post.. but some of it isn't so I'll share it.

i also wanted to know how much this unit is going to be? ATT has it for 449 without contract i think. I wonder if t-mobile will have it for around the same price?

Smile T-Mobile Curve

I am using it now...it is a great phone. I demanded our TMO rep give me one so I could "test" the device. I had an AT&T Curve but went back to TMO last Friday afternoon.

I had an AT&T curve, but no service to use it on.. My customer has me and my team setup with T-Mobile... so the AT&T curve sat here.. (unlock code was not in DB)...

My T-Mobile rep gave me mine last thrusday... played with it, but didn't get to put on my bes (and replace my 8800) until friday morning.. been using it ever since...

Having come thru the ranks since the old clam shell RIM 900, I'd have to say this is my favorite BB so far...

the Curve 8320 on T-Mobile Employee phone accounts intranet site is called "Titanium"; the ugly ass gold one isn't even listed, thank god... I was so worried because in the Curve training class all the test units were the gold color.

T-Mobile will be selling with 2 different packages:

Titanium will be 'Curve w/router'
Gold will be 'Curve only'
