Default T-Mobile carries BB8110 and BB8130?

Does anybody know if T-mobile carries 8110 and/or 8130? I would like to get the GPS capability and load the new Garmin's GPS software which does not required recurring subscription fee. However, T-mobile never tells you which version of the 8100 series that it sells, only have a "Pearl" generic name on them. Any advice? Thank you.

No and no. TMobile will never carry the 8130 as it's a CDMA device.

TMo sells the 8100 and the 8120. Neither have GPS. The 8820 has GPS.

I read the Garmin software is not free for life time. It is only free with the device you buy and can't go from subscriber to subscriber.

A simple look at t-mobiles website would have answered this question.

Most of the time Tmobile tries not to put model #'s on their phones, just the generic name, so I know what the OP was talking about.

It's strange one day you can look and it's there, the next day you can look and the model # is gone.

For example:
