greetings.

I'm using my 7290 just as an organizer. no SIM card. and I want to sync in my data with Outlook.

.. I get a "no profiles have been created. to create a new profile use the Mail icon in Control panel"

how do I get to the control panel?

then under: Options -> connection settings. I choose USB. and for 'Detect' it barks out: "Handheld not found"

all I want to do is synchronize my todo's / calendar with outlook and download the email messages to the 'Berry.

read through user guides/ manuals... don't seem to get what I've set up wrong.

is this even possible? to sync statically? I have my contacts from my palm in outlook. would like to have it on the 'Berry too...
