Default Wireless sync of calendar and contacts

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my first Blackberry (8830). I must use the re-route function thru Blackberry Desktop because our company doesn't support the Blackberry server. I can only get my email to wirelessly sync. Will contacts and calendar wirelessly sync or can I only do it manually thru the USB cable?

The only way to get wireless sync of contacts and calendar is via BES or a hosted BES solution.

You may want to look into BlackBerry Professional Software Express, which is free for the first user and allows that user to have the full BES features. If you want to add more users you will have to purchase additional licenses. My company is currently researching the BPSE for one user who would like to be able to sync his BlackBerry with his Exchange email wirelessly from the road.

Stupid question.. is BPSE the same as a BES? Second dumb question, does it make your BPSE server a seperate server then your exchange server too? (I read that BES and Exchange have to be different servers)..
