Is there an extended life battery for the 8830? Also, for my Treo I used to have a charger that had a second battery charging by itself in a second slot and the phone and battery charging in the first slot. Is there something like that for the 8830?

There is an extended life battery and a charging stand/cradle that you can put your 8830 in and on the back there is a space to charge an extra battery. Just look around for a good price, there are alot of blackberry stores online. If look at the sponsors section here in the forum I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
